Set my day up so i could squeeze a hike in before work today, completed the 2ish mile loop in about 45 minutes which is the fastest i have ever done it, but usually i am hiking with the family so i have to go their speed.

I’m hoping to get in a mixed hike/jog this afternoon. I have a 12-mile out and back from my house that gives this view at the turn-around point.

It may be a good view , but there are only a couple months a year when it’s clear enough for this view. Most of the year, this hike is a cold, wet slog.
I have a friend who lives in Mesa Arizona who hikes a mile from his house to get clear mountain views, and the sky is clear for him almost every day of the year.
